Liu Sanqi was born in Chaozhou, Guangdong province in 1971, he graduated from Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in 1993. Now he is a working painter, director of the office of Guangdong Academy of Fine Arts and Vice President of Guangdong Young Artists Association. His art works have been nominated for the Silver Award of the 9th National Art Exhibition, the 11th National Art Exhibition, the Nomination Award of the 50th Classical Works of Guangdong Art Association, the Silver Award of Guangdong Art Exhibition, the Gold Award of Guangzhou Art Exhibition, and the Art Award of Guangzhou. His works were selected into "the 10th National Art Exhibition", "the fourth Chinese Sports Art Exhibition", "the 4th National Watercolor and Painting Exhibition" and so on. This exhibition will display 40 pieces of traditional Chinese painting series "Iron Casting Mountains and Rivers" created by Liu Sanqi in 2018, which is the latest creation and exploration result of Liu Sanqi in landscape painting.
