The Spring Festival is a traditional Chinese festival with a long history and contains the wisdom and crystallization of the Chinese culture. People all over the country celebrate Spring Festival in their own way filled with colorful and lively atmosphere .
In order to celebrate the Spring Festival this year, Zhejiang Art Museum specially plans this exhibition which displays more than 100 pieces of traditional Chinese painting, oil painting, printmaking and watercolor works related to the theme of "spring", among which are many traditional Chinese painting works of the "Shanghai Artists" in the late Qing dynasty, such as Xu Gu and Pu Hua, as well as fine works of Wu Guanzhong, Zhu Dequn, Zhang Yangxi, Zhang Huaijiang and other famous artists of the older generation. These collections of fine works in different painting forms show the beautiful scene of spring, the recovery of all things, and inspire people's yearning for a better life in the form of art.
