“Youth --- The 7th Youth Art Exhibition of Zhejiang Province” Is Opened at ZJAM

“Youth --- The 7th Youth Art Exhibition of Zhejiang Province” hosted by the Zhejiang Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Zhejiang Youth Federation, the Zhejiang Artists Association and ZJAM was held at ZJAM on the morning of June 15.

At the opening ceremony

Officials and guests attending the opening ceremony included: Xu Jiang, vice chairman of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, chairman of the Zhejiang Federation of Literary and Art Circles, chairman of the Zhejiang Artists Association, and president of the China Academy of Art; Ye Chengwei, deputy director of the Culture, Health and Sports Committee of the Zhejiang Political Consultative Conference; Tian Yuyuan, secretary of the Party Committee, vice chairman and secretary of the Secretariat of the Zhejiang Federation of Literature and Art; Zhou Suhong, deputy secretary of the Zhejiang Provincial League Committee; Xu Xiao, member of the Party Committee and secretary of the Secretariat of the Zhejiang Federation of Literature and Art; Gao Shiming, vice chairman of the Zhejiang Artists Association and vice president of the China Academy of Art; Quan Shanshi, Wu Shanming and Wu Jide, professors of the China Academy of Art; Zhu Jian, deputy director of the United Front Work Department of Zhejiang Provincial League Committee; Sun Yong, vice chairman of the Zhejiang Artists Association and president of Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts; Ying Jinfei, vice chairman of the Zhejiang Artists Association and executive deputy curator of ZJAM; Yang Canjun, chairman of Zhejiang Oil Painters Association and dean of the Painting School of China Academy of Art; Kong Guoqiao, chairman of Zhejiang Printmakers Association; Yang Jinsong, director of Comprehensive Materials and Painting Art Committee of Zhejiang Artists Association; Zhou Chongzhang, chairman of Zhejiang Watercolor Painters Association; Du Qun, secretary of General Party Branch and deputy curator of ZJAM. The opening ceremony was hosted by Luo Xianyue, vice chairman and secretary general of the Zhejiang Artists Association.

At the opening ceremony, Xu Jiang, vice chairman of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, chairman of the Zhejiang Federation of Literary and Art Circles, chairman of the Zhejiang Artists Association, and president of the China Academy of Art, delivered a passionate speech in which he emotionally recalled the passionate youth of the students of China Academy of Art in the early days of reform and opening up. He spoke highly of the works of contemporary young painters and pointed out their shortcomings as well. Finally, he hoped that young artists could express the splendid and colorful new era with greater sentiment and responsibility. Quan Shanshi, a representative of senior artists and professor of the China Academy of Art, Sun Yong, a representative of judges and president of Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts, and Zhou Yunzhi, a representative of award winners also spoke at the opening ceremony, respectively.
