The two parties signed a museum-school strategic cooperation agreement

On the morning of January 14, the signing ceremony of a strategic cooperation agreement between ZJAM and the School of Art Administration and Education, China Academy of Art (SAAE-CAA), was held at ZJAM. The two parties signed the Museum-School Strategic Cooperation Agreement between ZJAM and School of Art Administration and Education, CAA, officially announcing the start of their cooperative construction. On behalf of ZJAM, Ying Jinfei expressed his gratitude to the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism (ZPDCT) for its strong promotion and support for the strategic cooperation between the two parties. He said that ZJAM and CAA have been standing partners with deep connections, and exhibition projects like “Lu Xun’s Faces”, “Hangzhou Triennial of Fiber Art”, and “The New Classic of Mountains and Seas” and public educational activities like “Observation: Academic Forum on the Creation and Research of Chinese Flower-and-Bird Paintings” are examples under their comprehensive cooperation framework. The discipline and professional advantages of CAA lend interdisciplinary academic support to ZJAM for the planning and academic research on important exhibition projects. In touch with the School of Art Management and Education, CAA, as the daily liaison department, ZJAM provides a display platform for the teaching practice of various departments of CAA. The two parties complement each other’s advantages and maintain positive and friendly cooperation through mutual leverage. The signing of this museum-school strategic cooperation agreement will undoubtedly mark a historic node in the mutually beneficial cooperation between the two parties. In the future, the two parties will further expand cooperation in the discipline construction and talent training of the museum, enrich the content of cooperation, refine cooperation projects, continue to break through disciplinary limits, and advance the multi-dimensional, systematic and comprehensive cooperation more deeply and broadly.

In his speech, Huang Jun first thanked the ZPDCT for its strong support and active effort to promote this cooperation, which was an important step for the two parties to move further and also marked the start of a new journey of mutual comprehensive exchanges and cooperation. Huang Jun briefly introduced the compositions and specialties of the teaching and research units affiliated to the SAAE. He said that the signing of the museum-school cooperation agreement was a concrete action to contribute to the construction of “Cultural Zhejiang” and high-level universities at the start of the “14th Five-Year Plan”. Based on the principles of “sincere cooperation, complementary advantages, mutual benefits, and common development”, the two parties would actively and deeply cooperate with each other in implementing and bearing fruit from social arts education, diversified and cross-border programs, and talent training by relying on the “Teaching Practice Base of School of Art Administration and Education, CAA” built in ZJAM and platforms like “Art Management Education Alliance in the Yangtze River Delta Region” created by the SAAE-CAA, according to Huang.
