“Glowing Jade — An Exhibition of Wang Liuqiu’s Works” Is Opened

On the morning of August 23, 2022, the opening ceremony of “Commemorating the 80th Anniversary of Mao Zedong’s Speech at the Yan’an Symposium on Literature and Art: Glowing Jade — An Exhibition of Wang Liuqiu’s Works” was held in No. 7 Exhibition Hall of ZJAM. The exhibition was sponsored by ZJAM, co-organized by Zhejiang Provincial Museum, China Art Museum (Shanghai Art Museum), and CAA Art Museums, and supported by the School of Painting Art of China Academy of Art, and Zhejiang Oil Painting Artists Association.

Guests attending the opening ceremony of the exhibition included Wang Yanping, who is Wang Liuqiu’s eldest son, as well as his wife Tu Mengping and his daughter Wang Qian; Wang Yanxiang, who is Wang Liuqiu’s second eldest son; Ning Wenping, who is Wang Liuqiu’s son-in-law; and Wang Liuqiu’s former friends Jin Xiaotuan, Mo Dalin, and Chen Dong. Ying Jinfei, curator of ZJAM, Du Qun, secretary of the general party branch and deputy curator of ZJAM, and Qian Cheng, deputy curator of ZJAM, attended the opening ceremony.

At the opening ceremony, Ying Jinfei and Wang Yanping delivered a speech respectively. Du Qun and Qian Cheng presented a donation certificate to Wang Yanping and Wang Yanxiang. The opening ceremony was hosted by Du Qun.

The exhibition is a project under the program of 2022 National Art Museums Collection Exhibition Season sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. It will end on September 25.
