On September 16, the Fourth Sibiu Contemporary Art Festival was unveiled at Brukenthal National Museum in Sibiu. The Romanian Minister of Culture, the President of Romanian Cultural Institute, and diplomatic missions to Romania. The festival featured exhibitions of works created by more than 150 artists from 22 countries, and ZJAM unveiled “Pad Dimension: Visual Art from Graph to Virtual”, an exhibition that displayed a total of 32 artworks created with tablets, at this Sibiu Contemporary Art Festival.

In his congratulatory letter, Chinese Ambassador Han Chunlin to Romania said that with profound changes unseen in a century, Chinese artists have contributed to the development of Chinese contemporary art with distinctive characteristics and meeting international standards by using digital technology and other new means to depict China’s development practices in the new era from unique artistic perspectives and tracking the development of the rapidly changing contemporary world. He also indicated that this festival, with the theme of “in touch”, highlighted the importance of cultural exchanges and dialogues among civilizations, echoed the spirit of the Global Civilization Initiative proposed by China, and would further promote China-Romania cultural exchanges and mutual learning among global civilizations.
